My Sourdough Journey 

Hi, I'm Lily, the owner and baker behind Lily's Sourdough! My sourdough journey began in 2022 while I was in college. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a passion as I spent countless hours learning, practicing, and perfecting my recipes. I baked bread for my neighbors and teammates and occasionally sold my baked goods online. After graduating and moving home, I continued baking and mainly sold to family and friends while continuing to refine my craft. After earning my Pennsylvania cottage bakery license, I officially launched Lily's Sourdough and opened my self-serve Lily's Sourdough Stand. Since then, I've expanded by attending local farmers markets and vendor events, allowing me to share my fresh sourdough with even more people in the community. One of my favorite things about baking sourdough is that there's always something new to learn. Every loaf teaches me something different, and I'm always working to improve my techniques and recipes. Following my first season with the Lily's Sourdough Stand, I decided it was time to take things to the next level. With a little help, I built a brand-new stand that better reflects my business and creates an even better experience for my customers. Today, Lily's Sourdough is proudly a small, woman-owned business that I run almost entirely on my own, with occasional help from my mom. Every loaf is hand mixed, shaped, baked, and packaged with care. I'm incredibly grateful for everyone who has supported my journey, and I look forward to sharing fresh sourdough with my community for many years to come.
